We are delighted to welcome The Undercover Hippy to our Half Drunk Club 2024 line-up! They will close this years festival, playing the headline slot on our Sunday matinee, on 20th October!

The Undercover Hippy are “Politically driven roots reggae hip-hop with a sly sense of humour”, if you’re not familiar—then get familiar here.

They join The Skints as one of our three 2024 headliners.

Also joining our 2024 line-up, is Codename Colin, Rebelation, Till I’m Bones, King Punch, Baldhead and Our Souls! Read more about them below.

Codename Colin

Those that have been to Half Drunk Club before will know Codename Colin, who are to us, what Zebrahead are to Slam Dunk! Their 4th year in a row, and we’re so glad they’re coming back. They are celebrating 5 years of their incredible album “Escape from Everything”, which you can hear, here.

Rebelation

Rebelation, are an explosive reggae ska band—influenced by 60s/70s Jamaican ska, Rocksteady and 70’s Roots, their sound also carries elements of Soul and Gospel. You can hear them here.

Till I’m Bones

Till I’m Bones’ debut at Half Drunk Club was supposed to be 2023—but uncle Covid put a last minute stop to that. So we’re stoked to have them in Leicester this year. Fresh from a stellar slot at Manchester Punk Festival, Till I’m Bones will bring you some moody ska punk! Check them out here.

King Punch

King Punch are a band that I think we have asked to play every year since the creation of Half Drunk Club—and we finally have them! King Punch are known for their energetic live shows, they are equally at home smashing together a blend of ska, punk, hard rock and swing. Give them a listen here.

Baldhead

Baldhead return to join the party, fresh from a name change and releasing an album in 2023. Dubbed “a very good proper band” by Colin’s Punk Rock World means that you should 100% make sure you’re here to catch their set. Listen to them here.

Our Souls

Last but by no means least—Leicester based melodic punk band Our Souls join Half Drunk Club for the first time. Fun fact, one of their member’s (Mark) used to book all sorts of wicked shows in Leicester. The booker, becomes the book-ee. Get them in your earholes, here.
